Dang! Same thing I coach my 8th grade team on and happens at all levels. Players don't focus on the little things that win close games. We are still on an upward trajectory.

GO CYCLONES!!!

If we do either one of those two things we win by 8 instead of loosing by 8.

With that said, we should expect some inconsistency out of this team. We have a 2nd year HC and a hodge podge of transfers. Next year we'll be more consistent and smoother. Hoiberg is showing signs of improvement, which will continue.

Yeah, we do one of those 2 things better and we probably win the game. So many second chance shots for Mizzou. And... well... you saw the free throws *puke*

Agreed, glad we're on the same page. We're getting better for sure.

I don't understand how we can be a good to great three point shooting team, but suck so damn terribly at the line.

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible

How many air balls we going to see from Royce at the free throw line?
He does so many things great and free throws are absolutely terrible.

Missed opportunities are nothing new for ISU. Its the difference between okay teams and good teams.

That being said, tonight definitely had some encouraging points.

That's what happens when the player who gets to the line the most is our worst free throw shooter. It will probably be that way the rest of the year, it's just something we'll have to overcome.
