Grades came out yesterday. Did Tiller and/or Jennert Qualify? If they did academically qualify, will they be eligible for the bowl game? I know Jennert got into some additional legal trouble, as a result would he be allowed to play in the game?

Anybody got any information on this? Thanks.

If they did qualify, I don't think they get reinstated until the beginning of next semester.

Either way, there is no way in hell they should play in the bowl game, IMHO.

I know a lot of people have soured on the kid, but I would love to see what Jennert could do on the field. His brain is clearly his own worst enemy but with that frame and the practice vids in fall showing him sucking in every ball with 5 feet, he could be a great weapon.

I guess I missed the recent legal troubles. What did he do now? I know he had a run in or two with the law previously, correct? So this is in addition to that?

It's too bad as it would have been nice to see what he could do on the field as well, but I'm sure he is running out of strikes.

It seems like its a little late for him to get his mind right.

If they've paid their penality, have been good teammates and can help the team, I would sure play them.

Jennert is the best 'preseason drill video' player that I have ever seen at ISU. He looks like a bigger, faster, stronger version of Todd Blythe with better hands. He just must be an absolute head case.

Well you would burn 1 year of eligibility for both guys when we have enough people at those positions for the bowl game. I would understand if we were scraping the barrell at WR. Also, I don't think if you have played all year you deserve it.

Both have already used a RS so they will lose the year anyway.

Remember Tiller busting a long one during a spring game. He's fast.

If they can help the team. I'm not sure either would at this point. Maybe Jennert.

Please tell us about all the reps you've seen Tiller have at WR. I'm very interested to see why you even the credibility to make an opinion as to whether or not they can help the team. Other than pure speculation with absolutely nothing to back it up.

Treat them the same as a Redshirt player. Do not play but get to tag along if they practiced and fulfilled the other requirements. This includes not getting into trouble. I believe both had, so I would let them sit at home.
