I wasn't worried before the extension that he would leave. However, I'm not going to bet my life savings that he won't leave before the extension is over either. I don't know why so many people are putting credence on coaching contracts.

Yep. I wont say he'll be here 10 years, but at least this should guarantee he'll be here another year, so we can stop worrying about Pitt.

So we had users on here making threads to call out Pollard about an extension when really Pollard was on it after the Kansas game. He was several steps ahead of all of us and its funny to read through all the posts questioning him.

He's always several steps ahead of us and everyone else. It's just easier to shoot at the guy making decisions than to trust a guy that keeps making excellent ones.

Just because I think it humorous that ANYONE was worried in the first place. I didn't want the humor to stop.

This is just as ridiculous as those who thought he was leaving for sure.
When the Pittsburgh media is reporting that Rhoads is the nubmer one candidate for the Pitt head job, I think that is reason to worry at least a little.
Last I checked, Iowa State has a pretty solid track record of getting kicked square in the balls.
I thought he would stay at the end of the day, but my blood pressure was a bit elevated.

Maybe. But I would bet you there are very few coaches with $20 million guaranteed.

Length of contract makes up for lack of annual salary. Great move by Pollard.
