True, but I have to think this means that he's at least not leaving for Pitt. Why would you **** of your new bosses right off the bat by forcing them to pay more for your buyout?

I wasn't worried before the extension that he would leave. However, I'm not going to bet my life savings that he won't leave before the extension is over either. I don't know why so many people are putting credence on coaching contracts.

I have to think that the buy-out for such a long contract is going to scare off some mid-tier teams for the forseeable future. Only have to worry about the truly big dogs calling now.

I had just sent Jamie an email supporting him giving the staff what they need, and that we (fans) are "all in". So buy your tickets and donate your money ladies and gentlemen. Our coach is committed for the long haul. We owe him the same. Small gifts add up, so don't worry if you can only give a little now

So we had users on here making threads to call out Pollard about an extension when really Pollard was on it after the Kansas game. He was several steps ahead of all of us and its funny to read through all the posts questioning him.
