I thought I heard during the Rice game they said that Korie becomes eligible second semester. I thought he had to sit out a year. Anyone know which it is?
 
The announcer made a mistake, I believe he corrected himself in the 2nd half.
 
Just because he becomes eligible doesn't mean he plays.
You're kidding right? What about our current options makes you think a guard who was averaging double figures running one of the best programs in the Big 10, as a true PG, won;t play if he can? You have to be kidding. Moot point anyways. Fall 2012 we will see how good he is.

He wasn't averaging double figures, in fact the the closest he got to averaging double figures was about 6 points a game. And if I am not mistaken Kalin Lucas was Michigan State's PG and Lucious was his backup. Im not saying he can't be good, but hasn't proven that he is anything more than an average player.
 
If korie was available 2nd semester he'd be playing. He's not and won't.
