What a horrible post. Sledge doesn't suck by any means. He's an undersized FRESHMAN PG trying to learn to play against high-major competition.

I'd say you suck infinitely more at posting.

So how much have you seen him play, all-knowing one?

Just saying he sucks right now, not saying he won't get better. I just found it funny everyone wanted him to start at point.

The guy has 13 minutes of playing time in his ISU career. I highly doubt you're in a position to evaluate his skillset at this point.

a) Who wanted to start him at point? Are you confusing him with Bubu?

b) How can you say "he sucks right now"? He's seen like 10 minutes of game time. Are you at practice every day? Wow.

I wouldn't necessarily say he sucks. I think that he's still adjusting to D1 competition. There were a couple of things he did last night that would have worked in high school, but not at the D1 level. He probably has a good skill set, but the game speed is just too fast for him right now and instead of reacting, he's thinking, and it's making him look lost and more timid out on the court.
 
Walters said on the broadcast last night that Sledge needs to improve his ball handling. I assume he's heard this from the staff.
 
This was just tweeted by Booker...

"No matter if I play 40 mins or 0 I'm gonna play every min as if it were my last, cheer for my teammates and stay positive. It's not about me"

Hopefully he keeps this type of attitude. It can only help the team and himself in the long run.
 
I'm guessing the attitude reflected in Booker's tweet is the exact attitude that CFH would like to see from him all the time.
 
Fred needs to tell the guys that he is cutting the rotation down to 7 or 8 guys that play the hardest and smart basketball. Like last year... That stuff was actually fun to watch, the guys gave it their all out there.
