2 ACC schools in the BCS is a joke as is Michigan getting picked over KSU (although we knew that would happen). Hope that this causes the Big 12 to reverse field on the BCS and vote for an 8 game playoff, or at least mandate that the top 10 teams in the BCS standings go to the BCS bowl games regardless of conference affilitation, etc.

We are the worst Big 12 team that is bowl eligible... no other way to sugarcoat it. We are VERY fortunate to even be bowling at all. Missouri rolled us. A&M beat us. Texas beat us. OU beat us. How do we deserve a better bowl than any of them? We don't.
The Pinstripe stinks, but it's a LOT better than Boise or Detroit by a long shot. There's a ton of fun things to do in NYC. I think the team will have a lot of fun there. I don't think many fans will make the trip though, and that might hurt us for making future bowls?
This is probably what we deserved based on the season we had. The Big 12 has affiliations with some bad bowls, and that needs to change.
This is serious ********. The Big 12 was stacked this year top to bottom minus KU and we only get one in the BCS?! That is just ******** NCAA.
For those looking for a place to stay in nyc on the cheap go to new york city vacation rentals classifieds - craigslist there a lot of cheap options for overnight stays, going for as low as $50 bucks a night. Figure it'd be a good option for students or anyone just needing a cheaper option.

Just looked at the seat map for the Pinstripe bowl. Are there any good seats for that game? Holy crap, that sucks!
So I assume you think at 6-6 we deserved to go to the Holiday Bowl, right? I'll have some of what you're smoking.
I was hoping we'd make it to the Holiday too, but how can we seriously have expected anything better than the Pinstripe. All those Big 12 teams I mentioned rolled us pretty good. We had a great win against an OSU team that was in a funk. That's great. But we had some horrible losses in there too. And TT was NOT a good win... not anymore.... they finished worse than us.
So as much as I wanted us to get picked ahead of some of the other Big 12 schools, we didn't deserve to be.
It's the BCS that's screwed up. How the Big 12, easily one of the two toughest conferences in football this year didn't get 2 teams in the BCS is a joke. The Big 12 gets screwed over again. Only because K-State won't travel well I'm guessing?
And of course it looks like Iowa is going to get a better bowl than they deserve because Penn State is toxic right now.
The worst case scenario would be to have had the OSU kicker make that field goal and we're sitting home.
Not my first choice of bowl, but still. NOT A BAD THING OVERALL!
