Bowl Situation Thread

I know most of the posters on this board are alums (i.e. old people :tongue, but it seems like a lot of students I've talked to like the idea of taking a trip to NYC for New Years. I know huge cities aren't for everyone, and it does kind of suck that we wouldn't be going someplace warm. But there are a few things to see and do while in the New York...

I've heard the opposite as a lot can't afford it.

If the Holiday bowl wanted us they could pick us though, they pick before the Pinstripe. So either Pinstripe wants us over Mizzou or they think we will be only available team, but unless the Holiday already told them they were taking mizzou it isn't final is it?

So far it seems like the Pinstripe is based off one person's report that is getting regurgitated by everyone else. It is still early...

One guy, out of Tampa, that works for CBS (a network with no big 12 connections).

It may well happen, but i'm not sold based on just this guy.

That there is. I think people who go will really enjoy it. Unfortunately it's not going to be cheap.

who are these students you're talking to? Im a student and there's no way a trip to NYC over New Years Eve will fit into my Ramen Noodle lifestyle budget
