Wanna see what an attitude problem looks like? The photo linked below is exhibit 1A.
I was watching the game on CloneZone, so I don't know if this was shown on tv. This was a timeout midway through the 2nd half following another series of sad defensive efforts. RW was the worst offender and must have known he was getting bench time. He entered the huddle near his teammates, then immediately drifted out and back behind the coaches, nowhere near his teammates. Couldn't believe my eyes.
Pretty sad. The guy has had some good offensive games, but is terrible defensively and turns the ball over more than twice as much as anyone else on the team. He's loaded with talent, but really needs to pull his head out. He needs to put this team on his back.

That doesn't explain effort and laziness. If this team was busting their *** all over the court but just making mistakes I could live with that but that isn't the case.
If this team makes the NCAA tourney, Hoiberg should literally get coach of the year. We are a rough, rough, ROUGH team right now....
Playing together 4 freaking games is no excuse for dragging around like they just woke up from a 7-hour nap.
While it wasn't D1, you know this team did play together all last year. Practices, facing off against our team last year, on their own time, etc. And fundamentals are fundamentals. You don't have to play with anybody to realize when to give help defense or how to play man to man or a simple zone.
