BEST call of the game!!!

What was your best call of the game and why?

Mine is when we took a knee with 1 minute remaining in regulation and went on to OT. Barnett almost fumbled in that play right after OSU missed on their FG opportunity and to see Rhoads make a GOOD game time decision is refreshing. 9 out of 10 times, these games could be lost in a hurry if you don't adjust your decisions based on how the players are handling pressure. We had all kinds of momentum but a fumble at that point gives OSU another offensive opportunity and with the 28 year old manboy, OSU wins this game - no doubt.
 
1st overtime play. Set it up all game long. Like we were saving it for a special reason.

That was my second fav call followed by the on site kick.

Rhoads and staff did everything they could do to make sure the Baseballer doesn't come back to run his offense. Rhoads has a LOT of faith in his QB and on this team, period!!!
 
Onside kick. Even though we failed to capitalize on it, it sent a message. Rhoads said,"Yeah we're down, but we're still playin' to win"

Wheel route - how many times have we run that play this year 3 or 4 times and works about every time. How do opposing D-coordinators not know this play is coming?

The part that makes that play work so well IMO is that White is a little shorter (hide behind the line) and does a great job of selling it as if he is blocking the outside (patient)....then WOOOP he's gone!
 
White has some jets. The wheel route was a thing of beauty. Barnett sold the play with the fake pump and constant lookdown to the left side receiver. Perhaps locking in on the receiver earlier in the game was to sell OSU out and run the wheel route? Doubtful. But the use of Barnett's earlier tendency was what really made this play be so wide open.

White's TD run was also a thing of beauty. Albert Gary's TD catch. The onside kick. The whole game was absolutely awesome.
 
SItting on the ball to go to overtime was a no-brainer in the position we were in.
Loved the "Stretch Waggle Throwback" to start overtime. Jacked up Defense overpursues and it is wide open.
Also a big fan of the "front side read" play that White scored on and would like to see us run that more. Auburn made a living of that last year and Nebrasa runs it a bunch.
On the Defensive side of the ball. It seemed like every time we brought pressure with an extra rusher, good things happened. Not sure if Wally should have done it more or the infrequentness of it made it all the better. I suppose the answer to that is in the outcome of the game :)
 
I love the wheel route play, must be one of our best designed plays because it works for big plays so often. I remember Arob taking it to the house on that play several times the last 2 years.

It also kept the ball out of Oklahoma State's hands for another few minutes, which turned out to be huge.
 
I love that we pounded it in the endzone at the end. I like coaches comment at the post game interview. "I really didn't want to kick the field goal"

All of these were great calls.

And the execution by the players was unbelievable for the onside and wheel route.
 
Onside kick no doubt. The crowd was going absolutely crazy after that touchdown, and the onside gave the players and the fans hope.
