Jacques Washington?

Where was Jacques Washington? I didn't see him on the field from the second quarter through the second half. I'm not sure if he played earlier in the game. Does anyone know if he got injured?

I saw him playing early in the game

Bullcrap!! He has a cracked rib from that hit in the A&M game. Will be healed by OSU.

Burris is supposed to start practicing OSU week also.
 
So we were basically down four key players for a large portion of the game.

So, $ would essentially be the third senior with a mental lapse this week?
Sure, I may be stretching to equate whatever $ did with the penalties, but for some reason, our seniors lack mental discipline more than the rest of the team. That is very strange to me.

I am impressed that the younger guys seem to get the point. That part is very nice to see. That part does make me believe that we will develop into a very smart football team as the young guys keep developing.
 
Washington is having a heck of a year. Pleasant surprise. Hope he's healed up for OSU. looking respectable in that game on Nat'l TV would be huge.

Seeing Givens and Watson play well makes me feel better about losing Benton and Leonard J. next year. The defense should be decent again next year - especially since we should be better/ deeper at DL/ DE.

Agree - we are getting nothing from Darks, and no consistency from $$. I liked what we got from Horne, West, Gary today. Add Ja'Quarius D., Bundrage, and Quan W for the future...

I don't doubt he is injured just saying what the Cyclone Radio shows were reporting. Not sure why they would put something negative out when they could easily say he is being held out to heal.

I ran into Donnie Jennert a couple weeks ago and he said he's not playing this year because "he is getting shoulder surgery." So I'm sure athletes fake injury reports to avoid the embarrassment of letting their team down.
