Who's flag is flying at Kum and Go's HQ?

Remember, you do have choices where to shop!

I took this photo at the Kum & GO HQ a couple weeks ago when I had a meeting in West Des Moines. Everyone knows that K&G's owner is a big Hawk supporter, however, I consider this blatantly alienating part of your customer base and bad business. As a marketer, I would never fly an ISU flag in front of my company unless my business was based off of ISU.

Never noticed it before out there. Just passing it along,

I always base my purchases on what team the owner follows. I even go as far as to ask clerks if they are Hawk fans before allowing them to touch my yet-to-be purchases. If they answer yes, i just go to other stores.

This can get tiresome sometimes, for i live 15 minutes from IC.

I am approaching as a comment on a business decision, not necessarily as a fan. But I do thank you for being #2 to post!

Says the guy on a message board that takes time to open the thread, drop an F bomb and degrade someone that brings his opinion to an opinion based forum.

Guess the OP should clear his posts with the chosen ones before expressing his opinion.
 
Big whoop.

K&G probably employs many ISU grads and fans.

No malice, but not smart business. I will say that if I was running a large corporation, I would try not to be preferential or alienate anyone particularly in a state where college sports is unusually divisive.

If it's a liquid, I throw it at the Hawk-cashier. I don't want to take any chances that they enjoy the proceeds of the failed purchase.

And yet, you're basically telling everyone to not shop at Kum and Go because of it.

You are making a business decision cause of a your fan hood. You wonder why the little brother comments are always around, ad its because of people like you. It's pathetic. Some people need to be able to separate themselves from sports and actual lives.

And I am a barometer on everything, whatever I like, is what people should like. I'm kind of a big deal.

Actually I said F, not ****. Good catch there. Oh I've hardly cared for this site with the constant stupidity going into threads here. It makes our fans look pathetic. It's honestly sad. I shared my opinion too!

To piggyback on to what the OP said and let you know that you have chooses on where to follow Cyclone news. If you are above the "constant stupidity" that you so dislike on this site might I suggest leaving?

Good for the owners, it is cool that they express their loyalty. I will not stop using them as my gas station because the owner likes the hawks. It is a frickin sports team, who gives a rip.

You have to admit that the "justification" and the actual intent of this thread are very different from the OP.
