Anyone pick one up today? I had the 3GS and I will say this is a nice upgrade. Like the camera and Siri is something that I actually will use quite often I think. Having fun with it so far.

I was due for an upgrade as I had a 3GS and wife had 3G. So we decided to do it. I think there are people who upgraded to the 4 and will wait for the 5 and there are people that had the 3G and 3GS that upgraded to the 4s.

question: how do you use itunes with two iphones and several ipods?
Do i have to create another login at windows startup so I dont sync my wifes contacts onto my phone?
I am new to this, and I dont really enjoy reinstalling itunes twice a year- I hope this will be a relatively smooth transition.

It is super fast, just not quite 4G speed.
@Cylobo- this is where the cloud comes into play. You will sync your music to the cloud, where you both will be able to access your music without needed to put the songs on your phone(which takes up storage). Eventually, everything will run on a cloud and phones won't need to be larger than 16gb.

Ask it to not sync the phone automatically. Then you can create different sets of contacts and only sync the ones you want. You can do the same with any of the categories. It works quite well. Just pick and choose which music, photos (make separate folders), and anything else you want on your phone. The "sync automatically" is where I had my problems. Ever since, it has been fine.
didnt feel like standing in line this morning so will pick one up whenever i can ... due for upgrade plus buyback on my evo makes this about $100 .. cant complain
I don't believe you can play them directly from the cloud. To play the songs you still need to pull them down and store them on your phone. Personally I wouldn't want to play them from the cloud anyway since it just wastes bandwidth. If I wanted to do that I would probably just go with one of the streaming music options.
I know Verizon's 3G probably tops out at around 1.5 Mbps..
In reality, there is no 4G (see the CTIA's definition of 4G, and compare that to our carrier's "4G"), but 3GLTE (or LTE for short) I think in practice gets around 15 Mbps. Not bad at all.
Theoretically, HSPA+ can get like 25 Mbps, but in practice I think it gets ~10. T-Mobile and AT&T use this, although AT&T is moving to LTE.
Sprint tried WiMAX, but it didn't work out so well, so they're moving to LTE, too.
But, marketing gripes aside, LTE is a step in the right direction, and is definitely a nice upgrade from the 1st generation 3G technology.
It sounds like it could be your router flaking out, although if it only does this when both 4S's are connected, and never any other time... that seems like it'd be something different.
