I love White, but we needed Shontrelle in that first half. Our speed was lacking and we needed a change of pace guy.

There was talk of him getting a concussion against Tejas last week, I assume that kept him out. Rhoads said he was limited before the game.

White is all we have with speed.

Shontrelle has a different type of speed. More lateral speed. Can get around the ends and makes people miss. We needed some of that in this game. White has nice vertical speed and is better between the tackles.

Thanks guys, thought I saw him in there early, apparently not. Johnson quick laterally, and I agree White is extremely fast straight down the field.

James is a very good back....but we needed Shontrelle in the first half of the game. James had several runs where one guy took him down, while nobody else was around. SJ maybe could have shook that guy and gotten a few more yards. I really like having both of them play....they are both well suited for our offense but just different enough to have separate advantages.
