I just went back and watched the highlights of the game on clonezone. And they had an angle of the play KO got hurt on(James White's touchdown) and it looked really bad. I am hoping it's not as bad as it looks, would be a huge loss for us:-(.

CPR wasn't saying much on postgame report but didn't seem to be saying anyone was out except Burris, who broke a bone in his leg. I thought White had scored on the prior play, so bad luck we were back out there on that play for KO to get hurt.

People have been talking about the refs a lot. But this play stood out to me most. The play before KO got injured, the runner looked like he was clearly in the end zone. Granted I may or may not have been drinking a little, but it was a play that should have at minimum been reviewed. And if it was, that whole next play wouldn't have occurred, thus leaving KO w/o the injury he sustained. Just luck ******* the cyclones once more I guess..

I wish I had the game DVR'd to verify the ref's were as bad as I thought. I was on the other side of the field, but it looked like James had the pylon on the play before. So irritating, especially with the KO injury next play.

It really seemed like absolutely nothing could go right for us this game. Poor timing for penalties, injuries to key players, not coming through in key moments... Was just an overall bad game. No one in particular to blame, just a poor game.

I DVR'd it and watched it when I got home. The refs weren't quite as bad as I thought but they were still definitely bad. Also, Brewster is horrible

I did record it. Refs were pretty good. Holding calls on Money were legit. White looked like he scored though. I also don't understand replay. Can they not review a previous play while a player is injured?

I really hate the way KO got hurt on this play. To me, it was a cheap shot by the Texas player he was blocking. White's already down in the endzone and the guy pushes KO back onto the pile, which is a really dangerous situation and one that should get flagged. Guys get hurt on this type of play all the time.

Draft status slipping?

With all the penalties and injuries he's been having so far this season, I'd have to say it sure isn't helping.

And about the refs ... I had to watch the game on TV (damn out of town weddings), and I watched most of it again this morning. The refs did a good job last night. The only thing I think they missed was the horse collar tackle on White in the first quarter.

As long as he's healthy for the combine, his draft status will be fine. Anymore it doesn't matter what happens in college, as long as you look like an NFL player to the scouts, and KO is the epitome of what an NFL left tackle looks like.

Having been at the game, I see the refs performance from a different angle. You are probably right about the stuff they had shown on TV. But they missed a lot of stuff that could have gone the other way. That being said, ISU still lost the game on turnovers, mistakes, and penalties (the ones they did call).

They did miss the one on James White where he took a step forward on a play in the 2nd half. CW and Jack commented on it in the fan reaction show. Other one I would mention is their corner was sitting on Money at one point in the endzone, and with the ref right there he pushed himself up using Money's facemask.

Only play I'd like to see a replay of was the hit right after LJ was carted off. It sounded brutal from our location and looked like our guy (Washington?) lead with his helmet a bit but not called. Texas guy will feel that in the morning.

I erased that game from the DVR just as soon as it was over. I don't ever need to watch that again. Didn't want it just sitting there in my queue with the good TV programs contaminating them somehow.

I wish I could scrub my memory of the game the same way....
