I really believe a lot of these "journalists" are making a boatload of money off of dolts like us who are hanging on every word they post.
Reminds me of all of the television "prophets" who make a living off of predicting the end of the world or the rapture.
Jesus said "no man knows the day or the hour (Mt 24:36)." Yet all of the prophecy experts still make a killing trying to be smarter than God Himself.
We have a lot of college football prophets who think they know more than the ADs, Presidents and conference commissioners involved in these decisions. They are profitable because they don't have to be right so long as the content is interesting.
So far, I've heard Mizzou's name connected to the SEC, B1G, Pac, ACC and Big East. In each case, the "prophet" was certain that his information was accurate and that it was "a done deal."
Same thing with a host of other schools. There's new rumors about Texas every day. Good gravy, Chip Brown has posted so many different scenarios that I've lost track.
At this point, it's become ridiculous.
