I think it is a tribute to our secondary and coaching, vandenburg looked his way all day, but we had him doubled quite a bit.
I think it's more of a comment on our secondary than Iowa's choice to not involve him in the game.
I actually thought the same thing. When Reeves was matched up with him, I was shocked he wasnt targeted more.

Not necessarily...but he is a stud and I'm glad he didn't have a huge game today.
We double teamed him most of the day, and Vandenburg over or underthrew him when they did try to go his way.
Our respect for McNutt is a big part of why they had a decent running game. Though Coker getting an extra 3 yards every time after we wrapped him up was also a big part of that.
Not really, Iowa has never shown an ability to exploit a bad match up. Ferentz and co are great coaches Sunday-Fri but they have never shown the ability to adjust to another team on Saturdays. They come out with one game plan and if it doesn't work, well they lose.
I was a little more surprised that Iowa didn't go for it on 4th and 1 in the third overtime right after we got that 12 men on the field penalty.
