Yeah we need to see how this team comes out of the half. I would have liked to have seen us with a couple touchdown lead at the half, but we aren't the only team that has struggled in the first half today. KState is 0-0 at the half to E. Kentucky. Tech is 10-9 to Texas State with a quarter to go. Texas is 3-3 against Rice at the end of the first.

I'd rather have Jantz run out of bounds than sustain a career-ending injury against UN-effing-I...
This game isn't going much different than last year folks. Except, we're turning it over and UNI isn't.
Also, we have too many undisciplined football players out there. I was going to say we're an undisciplined football team, but that's not fair to all the guys out there that are disciplined. Rhoads will be chewing some serious *** at the half.
This has been an embarrassment thus far. We are supposedly a Big 12 caliber football team and we need Jeff Woody to push our QB into the endzone illegally in order to gain 2 inches against UNI.
Probably what I'm MOST disappointed with, besides our stupid penalties, is our total inability to run the ball against an FCS team. I really can't stand the way we run the ball in this offense. It's SO slow to develop. Jantz holds the ball for what seems like an eternity trying to decide whether to hand the ball off or not. And by that time, UNI is in our backfield. Very frustrating.
We are so lucky to have a 7-6 lead right now. We had better look a LOT better this 2nd half or we could lose this thing. Jantz seems to be getting a bit more comfortable... I hope.

I agree that we need to pound the ball via the running game. Even with guys injured/out, we should be able to push UNI around. Then go to the air...
