Is it just me guys, or does the possibility really exist that these two could remain teammates playing for ISU, especially if Nerlens reclassifies to 2012?

I can hardly stand the thought of Nerlens playing for Calipari; the whole world knows what kind of individual he is, and the fact that for a couple of years 'ol Roy Williams had his back side handed to him by the Cyclones.

Fred Hoiberg is the best darn coach out there for young men to become men, better students and better ball players.

Why wouldn't you want your son to be tutored by this man?

Whew! There I said it.

GO CYCLONES:yes:

Noel said in a chat that the biggest thing he's looking for in a program is a staff that he can trust. That doesn't sound like Calipari to me.

I wouldnt trust Coach Cal as far as I can throw him.

I think what Noel means is that he can "trust" a coaching staff to get him to the NBA....:v_SPIN: which Cal would do...

I think Freddy has quite a bit of connections. I actually think that we have a legitimate chance.. maybe it's kool aide.

Georges in his ear certainly doesn't hurt. But, too many bigtime programs to overcome for this one..

Hopefully he REALLY likes Georges Mom's sugar cookies. Hey every little bit helps.

Hey Nerlens,

We have the 2011 National Rookie Coach of the Year here.

Last season we lost 8 games by an average of less than 4 points per game, and four games by an average of less than 2 points per contest. We win half of those games and we are in the post season with a FIRST YEAR COACH at the helm. (Imagine what he could have done with a bit more bench.)

We have a slammin' new basketball facility, a beautiful campus, and a respected university for you to attend.

We, ....... I, would love to see you in the Cardinal and Gold.

(And sugar cookies to boot ..............)

I've been following it and it's been entertaining! Sounds like they will both take their official visit on October 22nd, homecoming weekend.
