It seemed like theyd been doing a lot more advertising right before they axed them.
For those trying to get one from HP.com, here's how I got mine. Click on the "Small and Medium Business" link from their main page, then navigate to the TouchPad. Be prepared to wait about 5 minutes between steps due to the sheer amount of volume (I assume), but you will get one. It also helps if you're already a customer/have a login. $164.02 for the 32gb model.
I did the exact same thing and just go order confirmation from HP. I signed up for 2 day fedex shipping so was a few bucks more. I'm really psyched at getting this. Been look at tablets for awhile and just couldn't part with 400-600 bucks. At $150 for a 32 gb model I was all over this. There were tons of other people. I went to OMax, ODepot, and Wallmart. All were out and reported hundreds of people looking for this deal. Glad I was lucky enough to get in on it.
Don't get too excited, guys. An HP Rep on Twitter has been saying that the availability of them on the small business shop has been a glitch and that they've been out-of-stock the entire time.
man I wish I would have scored one. There's a group working on porting android to it. That would be the cheapest android tablet ever.
