They all have a more unified conference, a more unified vision, and are more forward thinking. What you see in Beebe's action is the actions\desires of all the schools together boiled down to one man (and it may effectively be just 'the desires of OU\TX as the rest just go along and cash the check).

Yea, because Northwestern and Indiana totally have a big say it what happens there.
 
T. Boone Pickens has spoken.

He would suggest that the Aggies to stay put.

“That's a big mistake for Texas A&M to move out,” Pickens said Tuesday night in Oklahoma City. “They're moving out of Texas when they do that, and I don't think that's a smart deal.”

I think trying to steal water from a place that doesn't have any has finally gotten to ol' T. Boone. His mind is gone. aTm isn't his team! Somebody point him towards Gundy - that guy might need a few bucks, from what I hear!

Keep in mind, TAMU originally had its regents meeting scheduled for the 22nd, but moved it up to get it in before that texas committee meeting. They'll probably be out by 9\1.

As far as deadlines go, while we all want this to end already, we're not going to kick them out when them leaving voluntarily nets us a huge paycheck.

I really don't understand the calls for A&M to go, I think this article rightly emphasizes the desire to keep them in the conference, absent a team like ND - the Big 12 is NOT better off with out A&M. Hopefully cooler heads will prevail. Keep A&M and be stop this madness. Make the exit fees $50 million and get beyond this

It interests me a lot, yes. Given that there are more posts in this thread than all but 2 (soon to be just 1) threads on CF, id say it interests a lot of people.

Maybe because they are going to keep doing this until the eventually leave. If they are going to just ***** and moan about Texas while they're a member of the Big XII, they can leave. BYU brings as much to the table as A&M.

Count me in that group. I kinda hate to admit it, but I think that my time of CF has probably quadrupled since this began.
