My wife has informed me we have a wedding to attend on Sept. 10th
These Seats are together in Section 20, row 42 (this is under the overhang) & I believe these seats have permanent seat backs, you will need to bring your own seat cushion and your all set!
I'm not sure what is a fair price, but also I'm not interested in any "low ball" offers.
I would like to get $300.00 for the pair and I'll include the parking pass.
email if interesed to mark46@mchsi dot com
I could list on ebay and feel I could get this price or more but I would prefer that they go to fellow cyclone fans.
I have seen similar seats advertised on stub hub etc. for $200+ each seat.

I've already got tickets, so this isn't for me, but I can safely say that I would never even consider $300 for a pair of tickets.
Yeah, face value for the Iowa game is $90 a ticket. So $180 for two tickets, and then $120 for a parking pass.

I paid $5 for the parking passes in G7 I needed last year off of vividseats.com

I went to stubhub out of curiosity, and his prices aren't at all out of line in comparison to the ones there, but there's no way I'd want to spend that.

But somebody will, and everybody wins.

Yep. You have to consider while 'face value' for the game is $90, the fair market value is a lot more, especially for seats that would require a cyclone club donation. Those tickets will sell on the open market for good amounts. On the whole, it balances out. There are several games on the schedule that have an actual value much less than their face value (good luck getting face for games in november).

You also have to consider that there are some that buy the season tickets knowing they'll sell the iowa game to pay for most of the rest of them.

I have no problem with the OP asking what he is asking for the tickets. If he sells them for his asking price, all the power to him. I just think it is absurd the amount of money people are willing to pay for some tickets these days.

I recently bought front row tickets to a Bears game in Chicago for this upcoming season for less than $300.

I will be going to a wedding this day as well, if it was not family then I would not be attending. Sometimes I really wonder about people. I have had weddings on the day of this game for 4 of the last 5 years...wtf are they thinking? :realmad:

Front row LL tickets for football usually suck. You cant see the whole field because of the team on the sidelines. Those are not premium seats.

Thankfully no one I've been that close to has gotten married on that day.

However, my girlfriend's college roommate got married on the same day as the Iowa/ISU game. I was expected to attend the wedding. I did not attend the wedding.

You have all damn year to get married. If you live in Iowa and get married on Iowa/ISU day, you deserve whatever no-shows happen.

If you're sitting along the sidelines, yes. My tickets are front row in the endzone, right next to one of the tunnels where one of the teams go in and out of. Along with that, there are only 2 seats in this front row, so I won't have anyone else bothering me by climbing over to get out and such.

Tickets for this game in the first five rows of the lower level elsewhere are ranging from $299 to $1,099 a ticket.

My cousin got married that weekend as well. Can't remember exactly which year it was - thinking around 1995. Anyway, the game was on the big screen at the reception, so everybody got to watch. Believe me, he caught hell for getting married that weekend from everybody, including my grandmother!

Sorry off topic.. typically how much are tickets to ISU games? I've never actually bought them, just someone had some they couldn't go to so I paid them what they wanted which has typically been $35 or so.. I haven't been to a big game like Iowa.. but I think thats what I paid for Nebraska last year also which was a big game.
