My vison of the tunnel

First post here. I know the goal is to bowl in the south end zone. However, wanted to have a little fun with the north end zone and adding a tunnel, which was brought up a few days back.

Here is what I would do!

I would be all for doing that this year, and bowling in the other end zone next year. We have some TV money coming in.. take out a loan and get it done now! Rhoads is building a team here, we need the seating before we get too good... otherwise there will be mass riots on hillside and outside the stadium causing more damage and costing more money.
 
I honestly would like to see the North bowled up to the Jake right now. Leave the south for awhile. I just think with this tunnel and everything it makes a little more sense, plus I can't imagine it would cost as much. It would give a complete feel to that whole end.
 
The problem is the Scoreboard poles are in the way now....I would think they would need to be moved back more than 10' from the face of the Jacobson. Cool though.

Your design....the scoreboard and the south endzone and the new football factility would put ISU on the map facility wise instead of being one of the worst historically....Not saying top 30 or anything, but I bet we would be average instead of the botom 15%.

That is why I would like to see the FB Faciilty and south endzone done here soon. We could have a pretty good setup football wise to start recruting a little better. Winning would really help though too.....

Good first post out of you. That really looks sharp, but I will agree with most others that this likely won't happen.

They could always design it around the scoreboard poles. It's too late to move them back. I'd love to see the north closed off though but with seating in front of the jacobsen building too.
 
Ive entered the stadium through the north gates for about 95% of the game Ive attended over the years. It would be very odd to not look onto the field of JTS while coming in from that side.

That aside, I like the looks of that rendition. Thats a project ISU could do one corner at a time, and spread the cost out over a couple years.
 
Wait... where would the tunnel go to?

How about a secret underground clubhouse where you could go and just hang and do stuff. You know... play cards, drink grape nehi, play pogs, trade baseball cards, look at old playboys... stuff.

Yea i agree. And for petes sake, get rid of that awful unoriginal ohio state logo thats just a big O. I mean, who the hell is O?
