Kind of surprised we didn't get more votes on this poll. At any rate, really no "loser" in this question. However, you have to give JA her props for looking like she does at 42...wow.

I think the title explains the voter turnout.

Yea, the previews made that thing look terrible. You could watch any other Sandler movie that is bound to be playing on basic cable at any time and do an Aniston/Decker google search and get the same effect and save the $30 or so of going to a movie.

There are three reasons I would see that movie. Brooklyn, Jennifer and Nick Swardson. Having said that, I will probably pass on this one.

I saw Swardson's hour special on Comedy Central, and it was okay funny, but as a gamer I died laughing during his xBox joke. That was gold.

It's not that Adam Sandler was funnier 12 years ago... He was just funnier to me when I was 12 years younger than I am now.

That might be part of it, but he really has recycled himself into irrelevancy.

Back when he did Billy Madison and Happy Gilmore his immature style was much funnier. Since then he has gotten very formulaic and has gone so far down hill ist's ridiculous. I could watch Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore now and, even though I don't think it's as funny as I did originally, I still laugh and think it's funny in an immature kind of way. His recent movies are not funny even on a nostalgic immature way.

I might get "Just Go With It" from the library for free just for the sake of seeing some eye candy.

Oh, and back to the OP, Brooklyn Decker for the win!

I enjoyed Funny People. It was a little long, but Sandler still cracked me up. Not as much as some other characters (Randy), but he was still funny.

Told my finace after we saw it Friday night that Sandler has just mailed it in. You can watch 50 First Dates to see Sandler goofing in Hawaii. I think he just does them now for paid vacations there.

Haven't seen that one but it did look funny. Probably because it is not completely Sandler-centric.

To his credit, I think he realized he couldn't do poo-poo jokes forever, so he tried to re-invent himself. The problem is, every change he's tried to make hasn't really worked out for him, and he's not a good enough actor to be able to make the transition from comedic actor to dramatic actor like a Tom Hanks, for example, could.

Interesting discussion on Sandler's movies. He has had his share of dogs...Grown Ups was absolutely horrid...unwatchable. But this movie was pretty good. And he has had some other pretty good flicks...especially when he is paired with a solid actor or actress...like Anger Management or The Wedding Singer.

As for the poll, both choices are quite pleasing to the eye. However, from what I saw on the big screen this past weekend, I would vote Aniston every day and twice on Sunday. Incredible for 42 years of age...she must work out 12 hours a day.
