Not sure if the Hilton staff have specific rules about having props in the stands, but I can remember a few kids bringing big heads of Brackins and McD I think last year and the ushers came down and took them away for some reason. I'm guessing it's probably since it blocks other people's views.

Definitely not a Big 12 rule, as KSU always has big heads in the crowd, as well as a couple other teams. If anything, its a Hilton rule. Which I still doubt, because people always have signs, which block just as much as a big head would.

How about a picture of the opposing coach? Let him stare the player down. For instance, a Frank Martin would be scary for the KSU players. Get one of the MO/NE/CU coaches.

I made one of Brackins and Harrison Barnes for Barnes' official visit last year, then I proceeded to burn the HB one a week later.

I made mine at Alpha Copies for like $4 and glued in on a piece of cardboard I cut to match the face, but it was in b/w and it looked like crap. Just to get the print of a 2x3 ft face is around $30, which was way over what I was trying to spend as a college student.
