Are we in for one of the worst beat downs in Big XII history or will we play at D1 level this week?

We had a lot worse beat downs in the 90's. I remember a few 60 point games where NU was running the ball down the middle every play with their 4th string guys in, and ISU still could not stop them.

I remember Pete Taylor saying something like "they've got their fifth string running back in there, and he's running through us like Barry Sanders."

I guarantee it is better because TExas could do no wrong and they played almost flawless. Even if its in the 30s or 40s, we won't lose by more than 53

I chose 25-49. Ironically, that is probably how many beers I will consume pre-game.

You will have to tell me at that point.

If it is the same result as yesterday, there will be hell to pay. I think there will probably be a 40 point spread on this game, but OU wins by 30-35.

I said 50+, but I hope I'm wrong. I'll have to make sure I bring a case of Coors Light for myself. See ya in the lots at halftime.

Bad. I will be sitting with my parents and (Hawkeye) brothers this week. It's the only ISU game they'll ever come to... so that'll make a long game even longer.

Don't even have the comfort of the student section to help pull me through :-(

I did this very thing last night/this a.m. 5 bottles of wine and only 3.5 drinkers...wine always knocks me down like no other. For whatever reason I can drink rum all day and be fine but wine just beats me up...

To answer the question in the thread Sooners by 27-34

"Red Red wine
Goes to my head..."

Really bad. With LSU and Cal losing, OU is back in the hunt of a Nat. Championship. They will be out to prove they deserve it. Plus OU has a bye week after they play us (then A&M). So they really won't be looking to the next week.

I thought the 56-3 defeat to Texas tied for the second worst defeat in ISU history. So I would say this was about the second worst beatdown ever.

I thought I remember hearing earlier in the year (I think after the EIU game) that Stoops said he plans on running the score up against us. Call me either Debbie Downer or realistic or whatever, but I sense something worse than 70-0, and OU's starters playing well into the 4th quarter. I think Stoops has this sense that he needs to avenge Fry, Ferentz, and everything black and gold
