Can anyone tell me how to find out when the spring will be played? Our older son will be getting married around the usual time they play it. I did not want to ask the coaches so any help would be appreciated.

Usually it is the Saturday of VEISHEA which is April 11-17th. So my best guess would be April 16th unless they are not having it during VEISHEA this year.

Shouldn't James be able to tell you this? Seems like something the team would be informed of.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it is usually the weekend of Veishea which should already be on the ISU calendar.

It would be a shame if you had to miss your own son's wedding.

Damnn.. wish they wouldn't have it the Saturday of Veishea every year. If it wasnt for being hung over and the annual beer olympics, my friends and I would definately be attending. Maybe I should just go to the game since its my last chance as a student

Then its like 4 months before football again. I remember this year being like ya football time. Only having to wait forever before seeing another game.

When I was a student I don't think there was a game I went to that I didn't have a hang over during. Then you add tailgating on top of it and I should have been in much worse shape.

Suck it up and go. You only have so many opportunities while you are still in school. Then you graduate, get a job, get married, have kids... Then you will wish you hadn't slept in during anything at school.

You're being very undude. It's VEISHEA. I don't think I was not hungover during VEISHEA during my stay at ISU. Suck it up, go tailgate, get over your hang over, and go watch the game. It's your responsibility.

Who ever really sobers up during Veishea week anyways? The best week long buzz ever! Although the sunday at the end of Veishea always includes a killer hangover.

College football isn't part of your Olympics?! What, are they co-ed? Methinks your executive committee needs to re-convene.

Having the Spring Game the same weekend of VEISHEA is clutch IMO...I've been asking for years why they didn't do it to bring in better attendance. Instead they use to do it the week before or week after. As an out of towner - I usually had to pick and choose...now I don't. It's a great weekend to be in Ames.
