IPod Touch Question

I got my wife an IPod Touch for Christmas. We were using it all night last night and I bought a bunch of songs this morning for it. Synced it and then played some of the music. We left the house for about an hour, now we can't get it to do anything. I have plugged it in and nothing.
Anyone else have this happen? Any suggestions to make it work again??

Thanks, that worked!! I would have been ****** if I would have had to take it in tomorrow and someone would have done that Don't really understand why they wouldn't put that in the directions, but I guess with the internet they don't have to.
