Just saw that Tavaris is on IR... who will play QB for Vikings? Heck.. where will the game be?

Should be an interesting weekend.

The Vikings are trying to get the game played in the TCF Stadium but there will be a lot of logistical problems (I believe you've seen the news related to this situation)

Personally, I believe it will be great if the game is played at Lambeau Field: close to CHI and MSP and can you imagine the Packers fans rooting for the Vikings literally to win ? It'd be nice too to have Favre come and play (only for several sevries, probably just doing hands-off) and declare before that this will be his real last game ? NFL will definitely love this for the sake of ratings !

It's going to be in Minnesota because the Vikings want to introduce their 50th anniversary team in Minnesota.

Didn't they sign Patrick Ramsey? I thought I read that somewhere, and that they were planning on starting him. The one weekend I will be cheering for the Vikings that I can remember in my life and they will be starting some no-name at QB. Maybe Favre can gut it out and help the Packers out one last time.

This game should be a blowout against the Vikings. Patrick Ramsey is terrible. Better to hire the ballroom dancer from Arizona. Better to bring Warren Moon back. Better to run a wildcat in the snow. Cm'n, is this anyway to manage a team, Wilf? The old coach himself is not around to blame, but this is just sad. Tavaris is not the answer if he went out after one game.

No, maybe Miller Park but GB doen't want to deal with the field issues they have home games the following 2 weeks.

Lots of talk up here right now about there being a solid coating of ice between the turf and the snow they are removing. There was also another tip to KFAN about the ice removal possibly damaging the turf, seems like there is quite a bit to go before playing at TCF is a done deal. There was also another panel that gave way in the dome yesterday.

Spielmann is in charge of player personnel, not Wilf, but even if he was, what should he have done here? Should he have cut T-Jack the moment he fired Chilly? Ok, you don't like the Ramsey pickup. Who would have been an acceptable acquisition in week 14? What slam dunk QB could they have brought in?

I don't understand what you think the big failure is on Wilf's part. He can't control injuries. Please elaborate on your point, Wesley. what should Wilf have done?

As if this season wasn't enough of a soap opera/train wreck. What else could we add? Oh, the stadium is broken and we have no QBs left. :twitcy:
I'm sure Brad Johnson is still upright. Probably about as good as he was last time he was playing for the Vikes too.

Warren Moon and Randall Cunningham have to be ready to go.
