It would be interesting to know, but as a private organization I don't see why the NFL should have to make that information public. Why do they owe you or anyone else an explanation for what they do?

I believe they have said it goes to help retired players with medical expenses and stuff like that.

I guess with all of the brain injuries they need more money so they are fining legal hits too:twitcy:

I'm a big supporter of protecting the quarterback and other efforts to reduce injuries, but there was absolutely nothing illegal with that hit, let alone anything worth a fine.

I thought I heard it was donated to charities or something like that. I could be wrong. Or the "charity" could be helping retired players with medical expenses!

My personal opinion is the NFL is treading on dangerous ground here. If they keep this stuff up they will slowly make themselves irrelevant. Nobody wants to watch overpaid 300lb dudes play patty-cake.

I believe they go to charity, either in the city of the offending player or to a charity of the player's choice. One of the two.

why shouldnt they have to make it public..i dont see why they can fine players and not tell the public..who btw pay for the players by buying tickets and paying to have it on tv...IMO

Does Hobby Lobby have to disclose to the public if they fine an employee? After all, it is the public buying Hobby Lobby's products and paying for them to exist. Dang it, I want to know when Hobby Lobby fines an employee!

Because they are a private organization! They don't have to tell you anything about how they run their business if they don't want to, nor should they have to. Does your company publicly disclose HR information? Why not? I think they should have to.
