I know, another entrance video thread, but why, why did they change the video already? I dont know what the song was but good lord. Hilton went completely silent and everyone stood there awkwardly.
For those of you who weren't there, the video started normal, but then in the middle they showed some highlights from the first 7 games so far in the year and changed the song to some rap raggae crap.

The video and music was fine the way it was, why change it to complete crap?:mad:

Agree I was telling a friend who was attending his first game of the year how much I liked the video, then they change it and take out the best parts. Weak.

This was the song. It's a good pump up song. Problem was it was played softly by the sound system.

I thought that the highlight video they had was fine. I love the song they used...BUT not for this situation. They need a song that gets the crowd loud and involved.

The team should come out after the video....

The transition between videos was very awkward, and then the 2nd video was way too long, and the music did nothing for the crowd. I dont see why its so hard for our dept to figure out that if a song is going to get the crowd going, it needs to have a strong beat, otherwise everyone just stands there looking awkwardly at it. Agreed with IcSyU that the last good one was Let it Rock.

They played "All the Above" by Maino..not My Time didn't they?
Nope. Was definitely My Time.

"Go hard today, can't think about the pasty cause that was yes...terday"

politefully disagree, the crowd cannot clap along with the beat so then everyone has to stand there completely silent.....lame dude

I don't consider a song that you can't clap to lame, but that's just me. Listen to the song, if you aren't pumped by that song, you will be tough to get pumped by anything. Agree to disagree.

In a sports environment, you have to be able to clap to it.

+1,000

The words matter but only if there is something to clap to and it's easy to understand...that being able to understand it is a huge reason why there aren't more of those stupid rap songs in use.

I agree that the team needs to come out to the school song after these videos are played. Then the clapping thing wouldn't be a big deal at all.

The video itself was actually really good, the graphics were pretty sweet and I don't mind the song.

i agree...i don't think i've ever been pumped up by clapping...i think the players get fired up more by music they like...hence why they usually have their ipods on during warmups

I disagree with the assertion that you can't clap to the song. 1 and CLAP. 1 and CLAP. repeat for the entire song.

Just listen for the high pitched drum (snare I think). This song is ridiculously easy to clap to if you listen to the drum part.

OK, how about "You need to be able to clap to it without having taken a music theory class." Better?

Where I understand you were just pointing out that you can actually clap to the song, the song still isn't a good song to clap to.

2 things
1) movie was way too long
2) song was not a pump up song, didnt really do it for me
