ISU thuggery?

That really didn't look at that bad. Trying to keep the guy out of the endzone...no big deal.

That's it? I hadn't seen the play before and was expecting something much worse like the play on Austin on the fumble/no fumble play.

Im gonna be honest and say that was absolutely deplorable. He obviously knew what he was doing especially with the right knee to the side of the head after he had already wrenched the kids neck. He knew exactly what he had ahold of and what he was doing.

Klein was reaching for whatever he could. It was a dirty play and I don't hold the retaliation against the Nebaska guy. But I think it ends there. You'd see stuff like that on just about every play by both teams if you examined the film.

They cry even when they win. Weird.

Arent Huskers supposed to be above this?

They gotta have something to talk about during the week over in that lame state. I should send one of the networks a picture of one of their own at the game that my brother took on his phone. They'd have a lot to talk about because it's a picture of a Husker fan weighing roughly 400 pounds crawling up the steps in Section N to get to his seat. Unbelieveable.

I'm not sure you've ever played football if this is your opinion. If you have played, you should know that on a goal line stand you are not concentrating on what you are grabbing, you are just trying to push the ball carrier back.

A personal foul on the 1 inch line is basically a 0 yard penalty. Letting someone into the end zone because you're concerned about what you're grabbing on to is worth 6 points for the other team.

I find the act of publicly posting Kleins family's address and phone number so other Nebraska fans can harass them over this play to be much, much worse than anything that happens on a goalline play.

well i mean it was jake lattimer and im pretty sure that guy has to be one of the scariest people ive ever ran in to... not suprised and if it was intentional then fine... because lets just say what i saw nebby doing to AA made this look minor

correction: not JLatt.... foot meet mouth

First they run away from continual beat downs from the Big 12 South, then cry when caught playing dirty... now this?

If it was not apparent the past 7 years, it is now- NU is no longer a power. Nope, now they like to think of themselves as the victims. I suppose it is a coping mechanism.

At least they are providing the Big 12 some humor on their way out. Pretty funny to see NU being such big wimps off the field while being a dirty team on it.

Personally I think this is getting a little out of hand. Watching the replay it didn't appear that the face mask was deliberate or malicious. Which is exactly what the Husker fans said about the hit on Gabbert last week. If that's the standard, then let's not get upset and hypocritical the very next week.

Should it have been flagged? Absolutely.

But I don't see how any rational person could claim that it was malicious, nor is it clear that it was not malicious.

IMO, I think it was unintentional, but that's just my speculation. When I see when his hand hit the facemask, his view was blocked so he could not see what he was grabbing. The knee (to me) clearly his him continuing to move his feet and using anything he can to drive the guy back. And it's not even close to a hard blow to the head with that knee.

These are Nowledge U fans we're talking about - I'm not sure how rationality plays into any of this.
