How far have we come...

The football team has come a long way. If someone doesn't realize it, they are blind.

Fusker know they were just plain lucky...........no matter what the wall-mart Fuskers say

You have come a long way. Its all because your coach is very good, maybe moving to great status in the future. ISU's challenge in the future is to find the dollars to keep him. I do believe he has being your HC coach a long time as a goal but if he keeps getting better(and I think he will) some deeper pockets will come after him. I think you will have to at least be competitive in that race.

I agree. That game was the best I have ever witnessed at Jack Trice. To see Nebraska celebrate like it did is a testament to how good we have become in a short amount of time.

I was heartbroken that we lost but very proud that the team played to win instead of not to lose.

We got the team and the coaches who are confident that we can compete and beat the "big guys" instead of "oh well, let's keep the score acceptable"

Couldn't agree more. He came here because he wants to be here. I think he would take a little less money to stay put, but there is a point where he looks silly not moving on if we aren't willing to fight for him money-wise.

When was the last time you saw a Nebraska team storm the field after beating ISU?
When they beat us in Over time in NE, when Leaders had a chance to pick off their first play, and we threw a pick on the goal line into a zone blitz. You would have thought they won the super bowl. Which I am sure they think they can do.

I feel like we are better than we were even under DMac. Too many times under DMac did I see us throw away the game

This. There's nothing worse than slamming the brakes on a productive offense to blow the game. HB dive... another dive... draw play... and punt

I was thinking to myself that I'm pretty sure we have the pieces in place to finally get over the hump. Wins, and close losses like Saturday, don't feel like flukes anymore.
