Since there is no ABC/ESPN mirror, being in PA I am forced to watch tomorrows game on ESPN3, I have a 42" plasma and my wifes laptop has an HDMI out. What kind of quality can I expect from that setup?

I watched some of the games a couple weeks ago on my xbox and they did not look good at all... but that just might have been due to the actual broadcasts
I have DSL through Verizon 2.88 mbs when I just checked download speed and the laptop is this VPCCW21FX/W | VAIO® CW Series Notebook PC | Sony | Sony Style USADepends on your Internet speed and your computer. On the Xbox, with 15 mb, I would say it looked to be 720p with some pixelation.

How did you watch them? They just added ESPN3 to Xbox Monday. I watched through playon before that and it wasn't as good.
I watched the Rutgers - South Florida game on my XBox to see what the quality would look like. It was very poor to start out, but after awhile the signal slowly gained a more "broadcast-like" image - about 720p with some frame-rate issues. If a big play happens, don't be surprised if the visual comes in choppy. The audio is spot on, but plays with a lot of action tend to cause breaks in the image.
Unfortunately, being a Bronco fan in PA precludes me from switching to Comcast from DirectTV and no Sunday Ticket:sad:, and $ wise I can't afford the higher cost of cable internet right now.I was not as good when I had it on DSL. I think you need at least 5 Mbs for live games to get HD.
