Is there a car wash out there that ACTUALLY gets your car clean? I know. I could use the do it yourself stalls or do it at home and probably get it clean...but are there any good washes out there that I won't have to put in the elbow grease myself to get a clean car?

All of the "touch-free" washes I have used suck. I pull away with bird poop and bugs all still securely in place. The only thing that comes off is dust.

When I lived LaCrosse, WI, they had a nice tunnel wash place. You got out of your car and it got pulled through a tunnel. The guy in the car cleaned the interior while it was pulled through. It was hand dryed at the end and any additional scrubbing was done by hand. I want to say it was under $10 at the time.

Any suggestions?

You might want to check out Mister Car Wash, its similar to the one you liked in la crosse.

I like the car washes at some of the ShortStop convenience stores in town.

Also, there are some Mister Car Washes that don't do too bad.

I have only heard good things about the Mister Car Wash and have been waiting to try it out.

I used the Short Stop car wash once and wasn't impressed. It was better than most carwashes but car still had dirty areas when I was done.

I have used the automatic car wash in front of the Hy-Vee on the west side of town. It's not a Hy-Vee one though. I believe that it is located on the corner of University and Jordan Creek Pkwy. That has to be the best automatic wash that I have ever had, other than the ones where you get out of your car and it's pulled through. And I think it was only like $7 for the ultra deluxe wash(or whatever they called it.)

Executive laser wash, it is the best auto wash i've used as well. Still not up to hand wash standards though.

Oddly enough, that is one I used before I wrote this email. I did a decent job but I wanted more than just a "decent job". I wanted a very clean car. As clean as it would be if I was in my drive scrubbing away.

I'll try Mister.
