Kum & Go Beer

20 pack for $10. Excellent value. I tried it for the IOWA-ISU game so I needed a few to soothe the pain. It was what I expected out of an inexpensive beer but better imo than the likes of Natty and Busch. (And I grew up on Busch)

what's a 12 run? or do they just come in one size?

I would try it if given the chance but hard to beat the high life lite I can get for 15 bucks a 30 (when seeking cheap brew).

It's $9.99 for 20 so it's the same price. Having tasted both I would recommend Hiland Light over High Life Light. High Life does still kick the Hiland Lagers tail but I have to drink girly beer so Kum and Go wins my battle of the cheap beers.

I picked up a 12 pack of the Hiland Light just for the Hell of it yesterday. It is definitely drinkable, and one of the cheapest options, but there is something funny about the taste of it. I can't quite put my finger on it. I definitely disagree that it is better than HLL (the Lite Champagne of Beers), especially since you can get the latter in bottles.

i got a couple of 12er's of the Hiland Lager for $2.99 each (clearance sale) today.

sounds like Hiland (sp?) Dairy has a problem with their packaging or beer name or something and they have to get rid of their current inventory.

reminds me of the keg shop fire sale days!

The logos look to similar and Kum and Go got told they have to change the label. If you want more info on the beer it is all made from the 6th largest brewing company in the states.. minhasbrewery.com . The new labels are being made now and will be RE-introduced in the spring to kum and go. Kum and Go is buying the last 2 pallets just to help out the small local beer distributor. Little FYI, the same beer is in different cans at Hy-vee and Dahls, just look for minhas labels
