I know alot of people complain about how our Offense has had to deal with 3 OC's in 4 years and how much that can be a problem. My question is dealing with 3 Strength and Conditioning coaches over that span a bigger problem?

I feel like both the OL and DL would be better today if we had more consistency in the weight room over the last 4 years. I know that the previous coaches had differering strategies in the weight room. What are your guy's thoughts?

Definitely agree. McKnight has said their focus is on speed and explosion and we know Shephard's was about size first. Not that the two are mutually exclusive but the training required for each is different.

You are seeing it more with our offensive linemen right now. Burris is what they want, Lamaak is stuck between the old body and new body, and Osemele, Alvarez, and Hicks are still the gargantuan guys we needed for Chizik's attempt at a power running game.

Bigger effect than both of those is two thrown together recruiting classes(chzidick and CPR's first years) and two more recruiting classes where the the staff's only had a year to sell their program. That is four years of recruiting where the coaching staff's did not have time to build recruiting relationships. That leads to the lack of depth that we have in certain positions
