Am I understanding this correctly?

If AA comes to play next Saturday we will win. If he comes out and plays nervous and forces things we will lose by more than 6.

If ISU wants to go to a bowl game they need to beat KSU, this is pretty much a season killer if it goes up in the loss column.

If ISU takes the loss, we will see a lot of Tiller the rest of the season.

I think we need to see some of Tiller anyways...He may not have the leadership or experience but I believe he could run this offense just has good if not better than Arnaud!

No way we can bench "The Mayor"!

Can someone tell me what Tiller brings to the table?

He played in the Nebraska-ISU game and even though the Huskers turned the ball over 7 times, ISU only scored 9 points with him at the helm. He's not a good passer. Sure, he can move his feet, but do you want the offense to be one-dimensional?

Arnaud is a good football player, give him a chance. The OL and DL are the two biggest problems right now. If you're giving up 6-7 minute drives up and down the field, the offense really wont be given much of a chance to get in sync.

does 6 and 6 make us bowl eligible, I thought we used a fbs win last year to count towards 6 wins.

We beat 5 FBS teams last year that counted towards our bowl berth, then beat a FBS team in the bowl game.

We did count an FCS win (Over NDSU) as well. FBS = D-1, FCS = D1-AA. You mixed those up.

And you can only count one FCS win towards your bowl game win total. Kansas State last year went 6-6, but had two wins over FCS teams and was therefore incapable of receiving a bowl game invite because they were technically 5-6.

Used to be you could only use 1, 1-AA win per so many years, but now you can use one every year and only need to get to 6-6. Honestly it is embarrassing how easy they have made it to get to a bowl game.

But yet a 6-6 BCS team is probably still a better team than some of the non-bcs teams that make bowls...

Anyways, who cares. Its more football. More fans get an excuse to travel. More teams get an extra month of improvement. Who really loses by having more bowls?

In my mind, we have 5 must wins, 3 can wins, and 4 long shots. Between Texas Tech, Utah, and Mizzou, we have to pick one up to make a bowl game. Losing to KSU this week would mean we would have to pick up two of those can wins, and two of them are the games after this weekend. The bright side is the can wins are all home games.

Exactly. More embarrasing is when you make a schedule thats tougher than it needs to be that prevents you from getting to one.

Most teams dont have to play 4 top 10 and one top 25 team just to get to one.
