Anyone know of a place in the Omaha/CB area to get some of the Nike I-State gear? Thanks.

This is an uphill battle I've been fighting for four years. The Scheels here is embarrassing. Every time I go there...every time...I tell a worker there that I drive to Council Bluffs to purchase my apparel. They don't seem to care. I figure if you don't tell them things won't change.

That being said, Midwest Sports in the Mall of the Bluffs in Council Bluffs has the best selection of Iowa State gear that I've been able to find.

I concur with everything said but Midwest Sports is, for the most part, lower tier apparel. Think Strawberry Patch type clothing.

yea good call with Midwest Sports... I didnt think of them... They are probably the best in the area... Use to be a store in the mall that had all of the iowa schools clothing... I was very dissapointed that people didnt support it and they had to close down......

Cyclones must prove to Scheels (in $$ not words) that they want more ISU product in their store. It's time to speak with our actions and not be whiny (you-know-whats) about it when we don't step up to the plate.

Maybe that store is the one I am thinking of and not Midwest Sports. It was right by Target in the mall. It has been a couple years since I have been there.

Some decent Nike gear at this site. My wife ordered a woman's nike football jersey and it got here in 3 days. i think they only do 3-day shipping and it's $5 an order or something like that.

Iowa State Cyclones Apparel, Iowa State University Merchandise, ISU Clothing, Cyclone Gear, Gifts, Shop, Store, Bookstore

Won't ship til Monday, meaning it won't arrive until sometime on Thursday. Want to wear to work for 1/2 day then to JTS that night.

You'd think that in a metro area of 1 million people that's only 2 1/2 hours from the ISU campus there'd be at least one place that carried Cyclone apparel. I see more UT and OU stuff for sale in Omaha than ISU, and those teams are bitter enemies of NU.

Midwest sports used to be by the target... they moved around a year ago to a bigger spot. I think they have good items... Wouldnt call it strawberry patch kids clothing..... maybe before they moved it did seem cheap but i got some cool ISU gym shorts there this spring......

Strawberry Patch is awesome, best ISU store ever.

I think that you forgot the :jimlad:. Last time I went in there, it was at least a 1/3 hokeye stuff. Fits the the profile of the Ames area hokeyes, though...cheap, poorly-made crap.

You might as well talk to the wall. Do you really think a kid working part-time at/near minimum wage really cares enough to do anything about it? He/she is watching the clock, just waiting for their next break so they can walk out to the mall and get a Cinnabun

i agree, i can't believe that a store in ames sells so much hawk stuff

…and yet someone here posts that the can't believe an Omaha store doesn't stock decent amount of ISU stuff?

Really not that complicated. Econ 101. Supply and demand….supply and demand.

I don’t think that is true for the Des Moines' Scheels. I'd say 50/50 .

you are right... i do like the Scheels in WDM... I was talking about the Omaha Scheels... Obviously they have a ton of Fusker gear... then Hawks.... ISU has the same amount of stuff there as say FSU, Texas OU etc......
