I was thinking that before the draft. When I saw that Mike Alstott II was drafted by the Vikings, I **** my pants.

This is a joke right? Comparing a player who has never played an NFL snap to a 6 time probowler, 3 time all-pro and then saying that's selling him short? Childress's offense is single-back most of the time, so comparing him to a fullback makes no sense. Everyone just wants to compare every power-running white halfback to Alstott. Let Gerhart stand on his own footing. He's a power-running halfback who will play a lot of short yardage downs and spelling Adrian. Besides he's 20 lbs lighter than Alstott and a step faster.
