If hes convicted i don't see how there is any way he is on the team this year. He would possibly be looking at prison time.

But then again, I don't take satisfaction when someone in Iowa City gets arrested.

I don't consider it some sort of personal validation as a fan that our program is somehow cleaner than theirs and that must be why they're better than us.

I wonder which is worse, those who constantly remind us that our program is cleaner than Iowa's, or those who constantly remind us of the very thing that you are asserting.

I guess I'm a little perplexed that someone doesn't realize why a rape trial may be delayed countless times. I mean, it's just a rape case.

How dare the judge deprive Cyclone fans of immediate gratification?
 
You guys that continually bring up Hawkeye matters when we have trouble need to get a grip. We have had more trouble than they have as of late off the field and court. You can't continue on your high horses if you want but you better stop and take a look around. I am in no wy knocking our program. These things will happen. To bang on Ferentz is pretty dumb too. You can look at the justice system if you want but really not Ferentz. You cannot go around punishing every one of these players that does something little. The truth of the matter is that a lot of the players playing for us and everyone else cam from a different background than most Iowans. These things will happen everywhere. They will happen here as much as anywhere. It is getting ridiculous that every time there is some sort of off the field/court situation it immediately becomes a comparison and ******* match with Iowa. It is kind of embarrassing really.

These threads always go this way.

1. Maybe it wasn't him or maybe he didn't do it.
2. It's starting to look like he did it.
3. Assuming he did it, he needs to be kicked off.
4. We're keeping him w/a game suspsension. As long as PR is ok with it, I am too.

Agreed.

Let's keep the thread on the ISU issues. People want to make comparisons to Iowa and/or KF, they can do so at will on the Rivals board. And our hawk friends can do the same.

Considering he hasn't been charged, and it was potentially his roommate that was responsible for this (if this is truly anything) I think we may be making much ado about nothing. (being optimistic)
