Another tragedy at Iowa State. What is going on up here?

Suicide/drugs/freak condition? The report says that it was not foul play.

I worked with him on a couple projects in one of my classes last semester. Crazy.

A google search shows that he had some legal issues. A pending court date on 26th. Can't tell if criminal trial or not.

Trial was scheduled to begin Monday July 26th. Don't know the charges or anything but maybe he was facing something not so pleasant.

This is getting a bit ridiculous. Are they going to make this a note in the campus tours that the life expectancy of the average ISU student is only around 3 out of the 4 years?

When you think about the fact that Iowa State is 29,000 students, a single digit number of deaths isn't exactly a trend.

Sarcasm. However it is a bit shocking to think of all of the students that have died at ISU in the last year or two.

Sad? Yes. Alarming? Not particularly. If there had been a string of students getting murdered, i would be alarmed.

Even money says he probably self-inflicted his fatal injuries... inside a locked aparment... its definitely too bad if that is the case

I'm curious if you saw injuries in another article or if you are just speculating? I haven't seen anything about injuries, just that no foul play is suspected.

Seems like a jump to assume because someone passed away that there were injuries that caused it. Young people can die of natural causes too.
