Cy-Hawk Series: 5-1 Cyclones!

For those keeping up with only football, we added to our lead of the Cyhawk series this weekend with wins over Iowa in vb and a tie in soccer (In a tie both teams get one point). Its looking pretty difficult for the Hawks to beat us this year. I'm predicting we will get two wins in gymnastics, both mens and womens bball games, mens xc and wrestling. If we just take those matches the title is ours easily.

What's even more frustrating about tying Iowa 0-0, is that I always thought we could recruit one of the women soccer players to handle the FGs and PATs on the football team (since it's obvious we have no kickers). But they can't score, either!!!

Start making the signs for Saturday, "At least we're winning the Cy-Hawk Series!". That'll make us all feel better

I wouldn't put wrestling down as a sure win. That meet can go either way. Two very talented teams.

I agree both have great wrestling squads...but I think Cael will want a little revenge from the dual result of last year. Plus this year the meet is in Ames. Still not saying its for sure, but I'm still predicting a win.

I think the majority of fans, myself included, would agree that outside of football and basketball, no one cares.
