thats why I love the Sweet Caroline debate.... so many ***** about it, but never show up to the games (faux fans), because the entire stadium signs the song when played over the loudspeaker...

I always liked when they played "the bells of iowa state," very classy. they used to play it right after games. now it is still played after the game but seems later...like I am already out of the stadium.
Bells is the last thing the band plays before leaving the stadium...however the director stepped down yesterday so if you want changes now is the time to push them.
I would fully be in favor of having a victory song to play right after the game (given we win) then play bells with the team still on the field singing it and fans as well and play fights as they leave. If we don't win just play bells with the team just don't play the victory song and play bells with the team and fans.
"right now" by Van Halen would be a good one sometime during the game, like say just before big 3rd downs or something like that on defense.
Instead of a song, everyone in the stands should just make really loud wind/blowing noises and turn around in circles really fast.
And at Kinnick everyone can start flapping their arms instead of their mouths for a change.
Thought I'd try to resurrect a happier thread this morning. I had my iPod on shuffle at work yesterday and "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen came on. Thought that might be a fun victory song.
Especially if we have a bunch of pool cues and a zombie for us to beat on...
Chelsea Dagger is a perfect song for this type of thing. Too bad the Blackhawks already have it.

I GUARANTEE a lot less than you think. Ag related careers is definitely overblown at ISU and is in the minority of what our grads go on to do. Only 1 of all the people I was close to at ISU went into an ag related field. And I know a TON of ISU alum now and only a small handful work in ag related careers.
Few Suggestions just off the top of my head:
Bruce Springsteen - Glory Days
Garth Brooks - Thunder Rolls
John Mellencamp - Small Town
Kansas - Carry on My Wayward Son
Lynard Skynard - Simple Man
Nitty Gritty Dirt Band - Fishin in the Dark
REO Speedwagon - Ridin the Storm Out
The Sweet - Little Willy
Three Dog Night - Joy to the World
I have no doubt that only 1 person you knew went into an ag related field. I'm sure you wouldn't want to get the stink on you.
