Ingle to Creighton?

I do have to laugh at Matt's enthusiasm about all things Creighton basketball. A an offer to be a walk on confirmed! What news! They will probably have more Creighton basketball segments on KXNO next year than UNI, Drake, Iowa, and Iowa State combined :)

You act like I just started covering Creighton this year.....I've been doing so for over 5. Someone put out a rumor - I'm in position to confirm or deny it...so I did.
 
Matt, you just have to realize there are "some" people on this website that have selective hearing. Also, there has never been a non ISU radio/ TV announcer or personality they find acceptable. You can't win.

Uh that goes both ways man, I listened to Matt a lot when he was in Omaha. I didn't often agree but appreciated the coverage he gave Creighton. If you don't live in or near Omaha you have no idea how "Big Red Blind" everything is, it was nice to have another side even if I didn't always agree.

I will say we were on the same page when Matt hosted the Hooters Swimsuit competition :smile:.

While it isn't concerning if this kid goes somewhere else, I find your comments classless and ungrateful. Yes, we can get by without him, but kids like him work very hard as one of our possible "scrubs," as you call them. They deserve more credit and respect than that. Picking on anyone that is considering coming here hoping to get better and make the program better with very little return promised, is very sad.

I wish him luck whatever he decides and commend him for even thinking about taking the thankless job of "scrub" to make our program better. We need people like him and don't think there is a ton of glory in being a walk-on. 95% of the time there is very little reward for an important part of the program.

This may be the case, but you do not, in any case, just "confirm or deny". You confirm or deny, THEN twist.

I doubt I am alone here...I feel you really do have an agenda against Iowa State. You have said not one positive thing about the university since being here, and seem to go out of your way to make everything seem awful in Ames. You are in the same category as Keeler, IMO.

On topic, I hope Kody Ingle does what is best for him and his family. He is a good ball player and a great kid. Having him at Iowa State would benefit the team, yes, but I also believe a personality like his would benefit the community. Creighton would be lucky to have him.

I'm sure you have a great basketball background to back this up with? Or you are you just talking **** about a kid that has 10x more skill than you ever did at any sport...

Maybe he wasn't Big 12 caliber, but the kid has more talent than 99% of kids his age.

I understand you do not like what was posted, but this is a message board, not your local playground. Your posting history indicates you at one time understood this.

Not sure what you're driving at there...

I know this is a message board but I hate to see any baseless bashing of a kid that is 18-22. What he has accomplished to get a look from a D1 program is substantial, and I hate to see someone just rip a kid for no apparent reason. I get it, ZJohnson may not like his game, but that was still out of line.

You dumb arse he is a high school kid who is willing to walk on and help our team are you clueless or what. If he comes great if not good luck to cody. Why do "Tools" like you think you can rip kids without knowing nothing about them. YOU my friend are a cancer in Cyclone Nation go far away....
 
Zjohnson has to be a guy that Kody just pounded the **** out of down low, couldn't handle him, so he's coming on a message board, WHERE NO ONE KNOWS HIM so he seems like a tough guy.

Claiming another poster is guilty of false authority should never be stated by message board posters when the latter's post history is of public viewing.
In other words, if message boards were limited to critiquing or applauding those who were less talented, experienced, knowledgeable, etc, it would be very quiet

Ok, still lost, but I agree that people are entitled to their opinion, even if that opinion involves ragging on an 18 year old high school senior...
