It might be a bit early to say this, but I'm loving the Fransico Liriano of 2006 we are seeing. 8 innings tonight, no runs and 10 Ks. 0.93 ERA on the year.

Go Twins!

He has looked fantastic his last 3 starts. I think he might be back. Great, great news.

I wonder if Hoiberg could hit off him?

Just kidding, dude is throwing aspirin.

23 straight shut-out innings! Yeah, I'd say he's doing OK. This team has been pretty impressive this year. If pitching can stay tough, they are going to be hard to beat with one of the best lineups in baseball.

It is nice to see him have fun on the mound again too.
Last year it was depressing just to watch him pitch. No passion. You could tell he was frustrated.
Trying not to get ahead of ourselves, but he may still become the ace we thought he would be his rookie year.

The 'cisco kid has looked amazing so far. I think he and Slowey (if the guy learns to just throw the ball) are very good pieces at the top of the rotation.

Now, if the team could just remember how to put the ball in play with guys in scoring position.

Twins are 14-6 and are a couple plays away from 16-4. I hope they just run away with the division so all guys can get rest through out the year.

Supposedly unrelated to the back issues he had last year(muscle related this time), so I'm not overly concerned.

Yeah I read that too but still any injury that's in the same region scares me a little!! At least we have more options this year...aka putting Thome at first possibly or Thome at DH, Kubel in the OF, and Cuddy at 1B.

Twins just got done sweeping the Tigers, now have a 3-game set against the Orioles and 2 following with the White Sox. Looking like the perfect time to put a good run together...
