I just saw on rivals that forward Oto Osenieks was high interest in Minnesota and low interest in all the other schools that were recruiting him including Iowa State. One of our top 5 targets. Imagine that, another miss!

Yep, another one. I don't think he has been a priority for very long. We probably started off recruiting him behind.
No matter what anyone says...this website is hurting our recruiting. It's not the only thing but I can promise you it is substantial.
And your solution is......ban all negative comments or shut the site?
The 15 win a year, 11 in non conference, lack of post season experience, numerous transfers, transfer of staff, probably does carry less weight than the gunslingers on this website.

You know, most people posting on here could care less, they just hate McD and JP's guts. They want ISU to fail and fail badly.

The fact is, this is why most ADs make the move before their coach is a lame duck. Because its really hard for a lame duck coach who has lost their entire fan base to recruit. But apparently we don't have the money, so here we are.
Of course, Gmac was whiffing on recruits and losing players long before the fan base gave up on him.

Sad, but true... I think there are 'FANS' on here, which all full of negativity and borderline hate towards these individuals, maybe still from where they came from previously...

You couldn't be any more wrong and I'm assuming you don't even got to other schools boards. If that was even remotely close to a "substantial" reason why we are missing on recruits, then recruits would be pretty much going to schools who did not have a message board. This stuff happens EVERYWHERE, and the "negative" comments on this site do not even come close to what you read on other sites. The KU board the week after they lost to UNI was way worse than just about anything I have ever read on here. North Carolinas board was much worse than CF, and they brought in the #1 recruiting class...
Interesting that no other BCS school has divided fan bases....surely CU fans are 100% behind Talkins, get real.

If you guys truly believe this website is resonsible when Greg misses on a recruit, then you must also believe it is responsible when CPR lands a recruit. Because, while we are all negative about our basketball program at this point, we are the most overwhelmingly positive and excited fanbase of any team who has gone 6-6 in the history of football.
Personally, I think its ridiculous to blame a coach's (coming off 4 losing seasons with consistene excessive player turnover) recruiting problems on a website, but if you truly blame this website for Gmac's poor recruiting, then you must also credit it for CPR's recruiting success. Or else you are just being inconsistent in your beliefs and/or looking for yet another excuse to give Greg.
