What happened between the end of the State Tourney and now that all of the sudden he is walk-on worthy? When I suggested he could fill a Jake Sullivan-type role at ISU as a shooter that was maybe a little better at creating his own shot, I was ripped and Kody was ripped even worse!

Jake Sullivan's role far exceeded a walk-on role. Do I need to send you some video?
On top of what else has been said, I think it is pretty evident that A LOT has happened since the State Tournament.
You are joking right? McD has had to rely on walk-ons while at ISU because he can't keep his scholarship players.
Actually, IIRC, Horny was a "preferred" walk on, and Orr promised him that he'd be on scholarship by his second year in the program.
And as far as comparing a walk-on today to Jeff Hornacek: I think that its only a fair comparison if we convince Orr & Hallihan to come back & mentor the kid. GMac hasn't exactly proven that he's good at retention or development.

Absolutely correct. You are "RC". Johnny said unequivocably that he would offer him a scholarship in year 1 if he had one, but he didn't. He offered him a scholarship in year 2 before he ever set foot on campus.
I've watched both...Nope, that's why Barnes has a scholarship offer and Ingle doesn't.
