fried chicken?

anything from wal mart sucks, the Ames is the worst. Please spend your money with local companies. wal mart used to be one of my customers---they suck:yes:

I know it's not Ames, but driving to Popeyes is worth it if you really got the fried chicken craving

I would give a finger for some Boberry biscuits right now.

I've only been to Bojangles 3 times, but it was for Boberry Biscuits that I discovered with only 3 days left in our vacation in S Carolina.

They make Hardees biscuits look like health food crap - their deliciousness is worth the years off your life though

I've seriously never tasted anything that great it my life. My sister lives in Charlotte and I eat at Bojangles a minimum of 5 times every time I am there just for Boberry biscuits.

Wasn't there one in Missouri at some point? wtf happened? I recall trying to plan a road trip there once.. obviously it failed, and now I'm left to regret it for the rest of my life since it's gone.

In deep SE Iowa there is a place called Mt. Hamill Tap. It is basically a big roadhouse in the middle of nowhere. This place has a sign that reads "You'd have to be a rooster to find a fresher piece of chicken."

This is the best fried chicken I have ever had. Ever. Nobody else comes close. You should see this place on the weekend. They have two huge rooms, and they will be packed, and there will still be 30 people in line just to get seated. Again, this is happening in the middle of BFE. The chicken is amazing.

While we are on the subject, has any one been able to make fried chicken at home that is similar to restaurants. The reason I ask is because I try to make a crunchy chicken Parmesan but it's not like in the restaurants.

I love broasted Chicken. I have to say the best I've had in a while is at Pizza Ranch in Waukee.

I worked at the Villager in Storm Lake in High School. They had great broasted chicken.
