After 64 more season tickets are sold, we will have passed last years mark by a smooth 4,000 . Quite an accomplishment considering last year was a record breaker in itself.

Go Cyclones.... it's going to be a great year!

Not to mention the results of last season.

But the sun is shinning again. Cys_av8r and I got the go-ahead from the better-halves and the finance Gods have graced me (ever so barely).

After the Meet the Coaches night last week, I was damn near on the verge of tears at the prospect of not having tickets this year - Chizik's first and all...

My birthday was a couple weeks ago and my wife has been trying to order me a baseball jersey. She called me Friday morning asking what I wanted to get and I said "Instead of the jersey, how about....."

Sec N row 19

Life....... is......... Goooooood!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, you learned how to put your pants on. :laugh8kb:

Not so much that. Well, maybe.

But what I have found out is that Graduate school loans don't necessarily have to go to tuition. There are "living expenses" that are applicable.

And well I just can't live without my football tickets.:wink0st:

Unfortunately they're being financed at something like 7.75%, but ya do what ya have to.

The other thing I've figured out is that when my wife complains about my spending (it's rare, but she does from time to time, and usually about sports-related expenses) having a copy of her U-bill handy is a very strong arguement. :rofl8yi:

I hope to God we sell 35,000 season tickets by game time 3 weeks from now..

Section "N" is representing. Anyone else in section N know what I'm talking about when I refer to the man known as "Superfan" located approximately sec N row 10 towards the south end of the section?

Section N Row 2, are you talking about the guy in a cape maybe 35 that runs around the section, Im assuming so.

I think so, but didn't he just start wearing the cape last year? He's always turning around and yelling at everyone to get up and cheer. If only all cyclone fans had that much passion.

Yep thats the guy and I think the cape was new or at least I had never noticed him before last year. Also, I think wild Bill sits in the front row of section N.

You talking about the loudmouth guy who thinks he is funny? The one who was constantly bagging on McCarney instead of cheering for the team? Not sure I would refer to him as "Superfan". Maybe we aren't talking about the same guy, this guy is more like N, row 20.

No that's not him. I guess we won't have to worry about anyone complaing about McCarney anymore, but people like that can usually find something else to complain about.

Yeah, the problem is when he and his cohorts start harrassing everybody who's not up cheering to their satisfaction. The "Here we go Cyclones - SIT DOWN" is just classic. :no6xn:

And they're such great fans that they buy a bunch of hillsides, then cram everybody into their section. I guess it's passion not backed up by the $$$.

Personally, I'm glad we're away from them.

35k by three weeks from now? Hell, most students aren't even back in town yet and they have an extra 800 to buy. I think we'll hit 35k by this time NEXT week. My only question is whether we hit 36k by kickoff.
